Here are just a few pictures, proof that I really did sail across the Atlantic. The boat is skippered by Dave and Fiona it is only 35' but there was plenty of room for me and my hammock! Looking forward to the return journey in June as the crew may need my advice and help with navigation!!
As I am new to this blog business I thought I would start from 2008 with Shamus my profile picture. He is a very special bear who has has been with me for a few years now and has recently seen parts of the world that I haven't been to.
2008 - 2009 he spent some time sailing across the Atlantic with five lunatic but courageous people. One of which was my sister, that was how he became to be part of the crew. he was well looked after but nearly got thrown over board at times for mis-behaving as I think he just seemed to pop up un announced in various places.
He went to Tenerife and from there sailed to Grenada one of the Caribbean Islands and arrived just in time for some Christmas celebrations!
